What this service is
Headergrade checks the HTTP security headers of a URL you submit. It makes one request to that URL, follows at most two redirects, and reports the headers it received, with a plain-language explanation and a suggested change.
Legal status
No legal entity has been registered for this service and no jurisdiction has been chosen. Until the operator supplies the entity's name, address and jurisdiction, these terms are informational and bind no one. Nothing on this site is legal advice.
Billing
Free tier — what you buy today. The Free tier costs $0. It is the entire product. No payment is taken, no payment method is required, and no account is created. There is no billing period because nothing recurs.
Paid tiers (future). Pro and any future paid tiers are not yet built. When they exist, the price stated on the pricing page will be billed monthly in advance. Payment will be collected by a third-party payment processor (e.g. Stripe) at the start of each billing period. No payment processor is connected to this site today, so nothing on this site can charge you.
Failed payments. If a future paid subscription payment fails, the card will be retried up to three times over a period of 7 days. If payment still fails, the subscription will be suspended and the account will revert to Free. The operator will not pursue any remedy for a failed payment.
Refunds. Nothing is sold today, so no refunds are applicable. When paid tiers exist, refunds will be handled on a case-by-case basis. There is no automatic right to a refund.
No accounts, no stored data
The service has no accounts and stores nothing. A check is performed when you ask and is not retained. There is no history, no profile and nothing to log in to.
Your use of the service
- Submit only URLs you are entitled to request.
- Do not use the service to probe systems you do not own or are not authorised to test.
- Do not use the service to send abusive or excessive traffic.
What the results mean
Results report what the server sent at the moment of the request. Headers change over time, so a result is a snapshot, not a guarantee. The checker cannot reach some hosts for platform reasons — for example, hosts served by Cloudflare may report as unreachable even when the site is up. That is a limit of the checker, not a finding about your site.
The service does not claim compliance with any standard, certification or regulation. Suggested header values are guidance, not a guarantee of security.
No warranty
The service is provided as-is, without warranty of any kind, express or implied. It may be unavailable, may return errors, or may be changed or discontinued at any time.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the operator is not liable for any damages arising from your use of the service or from acting on its results.

There is no contact mailbox for this service yet. When the operator registers an entity and publishes a contact point, it will appear here. Until then there is no address to write to.
Changes
These terms may change. When they do, this page will be updated and the date at the top changed.
