Headergrade is a tool that checks the HTTP response headers of a URL you submit. This page says what happens to the information involved in that check.

What we collect

The URL you submit. It is sent to this service so the check can be performed, and it is sent to the target site as the destination of the check request.

Nothing else. The service has no accounts, no profiles, no database and no analytics. It does not set cookies and does not use browser storage.

What we store

Nothing. A check is performed when you ask and is not retained. There is no history, no saved results, and no way to look a previous check up.

What the site you check sees

The URL you submit receives one HTTP request from this service's servers. Like any visitor, it may record that request in its own logs — the time, the URL, a standard browser-like user agent, and the IP address as seen from this service's servers.

Where the service runs

The site is served through Cloudflare's network, which processes requests as part of operating the hosting platform. We do not add tracking of our own.

Legal status and contact

No legal entity has been registered for this service, and no jurisdiction has been chosen. Until the operator supplies the entity's name, address and jurisdiction, this page binds no one.

There is no contact mailbox for this service yet. When the operator publishes a contact point, it will appear here.

A note on limitations: because the checker runs on Cloudflare's network, hosts that are themselves behind Cloudflare report as unreachable even when the site is up. That is a limit of the checker, not a finding about your site.
